Without a system you would be spending a great deal of time and money trying to work out what to do. This second basic MLM online marketing tip is also very important. When your system is up and running, the next thing you need is Training”! Training, or shortage of training, is in fact one of the biggest problems in MLM. Because very few people who join an MLM get any training. And when you bring your business online, it is all about the marketing
So where do you go for training? If, of course, you now have a system, you will have a ton of training at your fingertips. Without the system, you could maybe try to find a mentor online who would be willing to give up his time to coach you. If not a mentor, then it is a matter of trial and error, which could take you a considerable amount of time. The trouble with this is that you will probably do what you were taught offline and constantly spew out your information about your business. The people who do this are not professional marketers. It leads to people removing you from their lists of friends, because they are fed up of being sold to.
Training is hugely important for marketing on the internet. Think how long it would take to be trained in a new job; its the same with internet marketing. You cannot know what to do when you first start online marketing. Everything you have been taught about the ‘old school’ methods of Network Marketing does NOT work online! On the internet we use Attraction Marketing to generate leads. Using cold calling, and bellowing about your business to someone you have just met are frowned upon. Prospects come to us, because they are attracted to us, not the other way round

You will need to be trained in Attraction marketing, as well as some of the different paid methods you can use. Once you have studied some of the ways to attract leads, you can start to generate leads into your system everyday. The best thing to do when you are just starting, is to learn to master just one or two methods of lead generation. You should only add extra methods once you have the first methods generating a regular amount of leads.
Eventually you will have built up several different ways to attract leads into your business. However, this is not instant. You need to understand that it will take time to get to this position. If you think that you are not getting as many leads as you should be getting, you need to step back and re-think. You could be missing one little thing. Repeat the training that you did; you can often see extra things that you missed the first time, because there is so much to take in! Don’t give up too easily!
